{"id":98,"date":"2017-04-04T09:13:31","date_gmt":"2017-04-04T09:13:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?page_id=98"},"modified":"2018-09-20T09:12:42","modified_gmt":"2018-09-20T05:12:42","slug":"about-the-project","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/about-the-project","title":{"rendered":"About the Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a consortium of civil society organizations, which are the \u201cArmenian Lawyers\u2019 Association\u201d NGO, Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), the &#8220;Armenian Center for Democratic Education-CIVITAS&#8221; NGO, the \u201cInternational Center for Human Development\u201d Public Organization, the &#8220;SME Cooperation Association&#8221; NGO and the Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The project was launched on <em>15 December 2016<\/em>. Project duration is 34 months. The total budget of the project is EUR 2.222.256 million of which the EU contribution is EUR 2.000.000. The project has 9 target sectors.\u00a0<em>The overall objective of the project is to enhance the influence of CSOs on the public policy process, and the specific objectives are to strengthen the ability of CSOs to build coalitions and focus on constructive and strategic policy engagement with local and central government partners.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>The 9 project target sectors are:\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i>1. Public finance management,\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i>2. Human rights,\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i>3. Justice,<br \/>\n<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i>4. Business,\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i>5. Education,\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i>6. Agriculture,<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i>7. Economy,\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i>8. Energy,\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i>9. Social sector: social inclusion of children with disabilities.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">In the scope of the project CSOs working in 9 target sectors of the project will be trained in the following areas:\u00a0<em>conducting monitoring of public budget allocations and policy implementation; identification of the most important issues for the development of public policies; analysis and development of public policies to solve these issues; building coalitions and focusing on constructive and strategic policy engagement with local and central government partners<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">In addition, CSO incubators will be established at strategic locations in the marzes. The incubators will focus on strengthening CSOs&#8217; abilities in monitoring and policy-making.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Further, the issues existing in 9 different areas will be jointly raised by the authorized state bodies and civil society organisations.
