The educational certification program for civil society organizations organized in the framework of the EU funded \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project is continued at the American University of Armenia. The participants of the second phase of the project will develop their skills in the field of civil society through the discussions, games and lectures.<\/p>\n
Mr. Artush Khachatryan from Vardenik Community of Gegharkunik Marz represents the “Community Pulse” Youth NGO as well as the “Sareri Barik” (Gifts of the Mountains) social enterprise. He notes that thanks to the course, new skills will be gained in the field of non-governmental organizations.<\/p>\n
\u201cBoth the lessons and the tactics related to the mechanics the trainers give us are very interesting. The most important and useful thing for me is the types of the mechanisms that exist in the public dialogue. What are the possibilities and ways for building coalitions in the NGO field and solve problems?\u201d Artush Khachatryan said.<\/p>\n
Ms Lusine Zhamagochyan, representative of \u201cDiscover Our Country” NGO, says that such trainings are beneficial to younger organizations to the extent that it is possible to get acquainted with mature NGOs and gain new knowledge. \u201cOur last training with lecturer Arsen Simonyan gave me a lot, and I have already developed a new program, I try to implement it\u201d the young participant said.<\/p>\n
The training course is orgnised within the framework of The \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d project implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a Consortium of civil society organisations, which are the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association (lead organisation), Agora Central Europe (NGO based in the Czech Republic), the Armenian Centre for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, the International Centre for Human Development, the SME Cooperation Association and the Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
