On\u00a018 May\u00a0<\/strong>2018,<\/strong>\u00a0at 10:00AM,\u00a0<\/strong>an anti-corruption workshop entitled \u201cCurrent Challenges and Future Actions in Fight against Corruption: Anti-Corruption Workshop\u201d will be held in Nairi Hall at Ani Hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Representatives of CSOs working in the field of anti-corruption, as well as state agencies, activists and experts will attend the event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cCommitment Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project\u00a0<\/strong>is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a Consortium of civil society organisations, which are the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association (lead organisation), Agora Central Europe (NGO based in the Czech Republic), the Armenian Centre for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, the International Centre for Human Development, the SME Cooperation Association and the Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The program was launched in\u00a0December\u00a02016<\/em>.\u00a0The duration of the project is 34 months.\u00a0The project budget is 2.222.256 Euros, of which EUR 2,000,000 is provided by the European Union.<\/span><\/p>\n

The target areas of the project are:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  2. Human Rights<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Justice<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Business<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Education<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Agriculture<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Economy<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Energy\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Social sphere:\u00a0Social inclusion of children with disabilities\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The main objective of the Project is to enhance the influence of CSOs on the public policy process, and the specific objectives are to strengthen the ability of CSOs to build coalitions and to strengthen the ability of CSOs to focus on constructive and strategic policy engagement with local and central government partners.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Within the framework of the project, trainings will be organised for CSOs operating in 9 targeted areas, including\u00a0\u00a0monitoring of allocations of the state budget and policy implementation, identifying key issues for public policy development, including analysis and elaboration of public policies, coalition building and policymaking strategies, interaction with central authorities and partners in local self-governance bodies<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    From now and on, through the efforts of the State Authorities and civil society organisations, the issues that exist in the nine target areas will be raised, and public policies aimed at the solution of the identified issues will be developed in the format of the Government-CSO constructive dialogue.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
