{"id":2949,"date":"2018-07-23T18:00:44","date_gmt":"2018-07-23T14:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?p=2949"},"modified":"2018-08-31T15:31:01","modified_gmt":"2018-08-31T11:31:01","slug":"cso-representatives-became-familiar-with-the-governance-challenges-and-development-prospects-of-local-government-bodies-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/2949.html","title":{"rendered":"CSO Representatives Became Familiar with the Governance Challenges and Development Prospects of Local Government Bodies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">On <strong>July 23rd, <\/strong>\u00a0a lecture titled\u00a0<em>&#8220;The Systems of Territorial Administration and Local Government in the Light of the Changed Constitution: Existing Challenges, Development Prospects&#8221; <\/em>was held in the Gavar CSO incubator in the scope of the &#8220;Commitment to Constructive Dialogue&#8221; project<em>. <\/em>The lecture was followed by provision of personal advice to the Gavar incubator CSOs working in the fields of local government\/economy, energy, justice, human rights, public finance management, and other fields not included in the 9 project target sectors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The training was delivered by\u00a0<em>Emin Yeritsyan, <\/em>the President of the Union of Communities of Armenia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Speaking about enlarged communities, he mentioned that this change had had both a positive and negative effect on the processes of community management. In his words, residents&#8217; opinions on various issues are not taken on board whereas when the community was smaller in the past people&#8217;s voices were heard.
