On August 1st, at 11:00AM, <\/strong>Narek Yenokyan,\u00a0<\/em>a Lawyer\/Expert of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project, will deliver a lecture at the Gyumri CSO incubator. The lecture is titled “Human Rights: Gaps in the RA Labour Code and the Need for Making Changes and Additions in the RA Law on Trade Unions.” The lecture will be followed by provision of personal advice to Gyumri incubator CSOs working in the sectors of justice, human rights, public finance management, education, and the social sector, as well as in other sectors not targeted by the project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Civil society organisations (CSO) incubators are aimed at promoting CSO capacity building and enhancing productivity.<\/span><\/p>\n

CSO incubators\u2019 mission is to provide professional and technical assistance to Armenian CSOs to develop their capacities in 9 target sectors and 4 thematic areas listed below:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Monitoring of Public Budgets and Policies;<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Development of proven policies;<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Creation and \/ or Development of Coalition,<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Constructive participation \/ dialogue with the government and local self-governance bodies in the process of public policy development.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0The target areas of the project are:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Public Finance Management<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Human Rights:\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Justice<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Business<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Education<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    6. Agriculture<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    7. Economy<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    8. Energy\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    9. Social sector: social inclusion of children with disabilities\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      CSO incubators will be run in two stages in the following five cities:\u00a0Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Gavar and Kapan.\u00a0In each phase, 36 CSOs will be selected, who will be selected from the series of CSOs who completed their training organised by the American University of Armenia.\u00a0Upon completion of CSO incubators, a total of 33 grants will be provided on a competitive basis, envisaging 16-17 grants for each stage.<\/span><\/p>\n

      CSOs of Tavush Marz will have the opportunity to benefit from the Vanadzor incubator, Aragatsotn CSOs can become a part of the Yerevan, Gyumri, and Vanadzor incubators, according to CSO locations, Vayots Dzor CSOs might benefit from the Yerevan Incubator.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
