{"id":3014,"date":"2018-08-01T16:13:37","date_gmt":"2018-08-01T12:13:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?p=3014"},"modified":"2018-08-31T15:53:56","modified_gmt":"2018-08-31T11:53:56","slug":"problems-related-to-protection-of-labour-rights-were-discussed-with-cso-representatives-in-gyumri","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/3014.html","title":{"rendered":"Problems Related to Protection of Labour Rights Were Discussed with CSO Representatives in Gyumri"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">On<strong>\u00a0August 1st, <\/strong><em>Narek Yenokyan,\u00a0<\/em>a Lawyer\/Expert of the \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project, delivered a lecture at the Gyumri CSO incubator titled \u201cHuman Rights: Gaps in the RA Labour Code and the Need for Making Changes and Additions in the RA Law on Trade Unions.\u201d The lecture will be followed by provision of personal advice to Gyumri incubator CSOs working in the sectors of justice, human rights, public finance management, education, and the social sector, as well as in other sectors not targeted by the project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The lecture was followed by\u00a0provision of personal advice to Gyumri incubator CSOs working in the sectors of justice, human rights, public finance management, education, and the social sector, as well as in other sectors not targeted by the project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Civil society organisations (CSO) incubators are aimed at promoting CSO capacity building and enhancing productivity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a consortium of civil society organizations, which are the \u201cArmenian Lawyers\u2019 Association\u201d NGO, Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), the \u201cArmenian Center for Democratic Education-CIVITAS\u201d NGO, the \u201cInternational Center for Human Development\u201d Public Organization, the \u201cSME Cooperation Association\u201d NGO and the Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The overall objective of the project is to enhance the influence of CSOs and their coalitions on the public policy process. This will enable the organisations (those that already work in target coalitions)\u00a0to gain new resources, unite civil society experts and encourage their participation in the formation of local and national policy agenda, identify common issues and priorities and go to the government with constructive and strategic policy initiatives.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">In the scope of the project sub-grants are\/will be allocated to CSOs and CSO coalitions.
