Project Goals<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The main goal of the project is to improve the quality and effectiveness of educational services provided by general inclusive education institutions and social services, provided by community based support centers in 4 marzes of the RA, increasing CSOs’ impact on the development and implementation of public policies in these areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

The specific objectives of the project are:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Study the implementation process and current situation of inclusive education in the targeted regions by identifying problems and main gaps;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Conduct need assessment of the targeted community support centers, studying their needs, key areas of improvement,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Develop a concept of social inclusion, support and cooperation;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Conduct advocacy campaign in favor of concept investment,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Establish a dialogue with the Government in support of the conceptual framework and participatory policy development.<\/span><\/p>\n

Target groups and beneficiaries <\/strong><\/span><\/td>\nThe target groups of the project are the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the relevant departments of four target regional governances, the relevant departments of the municipalities, specifically targeted to include program activities in decision-making processes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Direct beneficiaries of the project are the children with special education needs and children with disabilities who are in need of various social, educational and rehabilitative services in 4 target regions, the total number of which is about 2200. They should not abstain from the quality services in their communities. And the indirect beneficiaries of the program are their families and communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A comprehensive study on the inclusive education of general education institutions in 4 target regions will be available with relevant conclusions and recommendations, which will be submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science to improve the policies developed,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There will be a comprehensive study of community-based support centers in four target regions focusing on their needs, the main focus areas for improvement, which will be presented to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs for improving policies and balanced regional development,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A concept of social inclusion, support and collaboration will be developed to be invested in 4 target regions in favor of quality and accessible services;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 An inter-regional coalition website will be operated dealing with the problems of children with disabilities, which will allow the professionals to use online programs and resources, using online tools in their activities,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A culture of dialogue will be developed with the government to promote participatory policy-making.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
