On 9 August 2018, a working meeting with the CSO representatives of the \u201cSupport for Probation\u201d National Network\u00a0was held at the central office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association. This network is implementing the\u00a0\u201cStep towards Just Armenia\u201d project in the scope of the sub-grant allocated by the \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d project funded by the European Union.<\/p>\n
The goal of the meeting was to discuss the implementation process, successes, and challenges of the sub-grant project.<\/p>\n
President of the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association Karen Zadoyan, the respective project specialists and representatives from the \u201cCivil Society Institute\u201d NGO, the \u201cAstghatsolk\u201d NGO, and the \u201cAgainst the Violation of Law\u201d NGO were present at the meeting.<\/p>\n
As one of the successes achieved in the scope of the project, the following were mentioned: the establishment of the \u201cSupport to Probation\u201d National Network, the selection of the Governing Board of the latter, launching the online election of the Ethics Commission members, as well as the design and approval of the logo, rules of procedure, and ethics rules of the network.<\/p>\n
The upcoming project events and the opportunities of their efficient and targeted implementation were discussed, too.<\/p>\n
