{"id":3353,"date":"2018-09-10T22:35:03","date_gmt":"2018-09-10T18:35:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?p=3353"},"modified":"2018-09-17T16:08:36","modified_gmt":"2018-09-17T12:08:36","slug":"7-csos-from-the-yerevan-cso-incubator-were-given-personal-advice-on-public-policy-monitoring-and-improvement-plans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/3353.html","title":{"rendered":"7 CSOs from the Yerevan CSO Incubator Were Given Personal Advice on Public Policy Monitoring and Improvement Plans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">On 10 September 2018, Marat Atovmyan, the Mentors Group Coordinator\/Justice Sector Mentor of the &#8220;Commitment to Constructive Dialogue&#8221; project funded by the European Union, gave personal advice on CSO public policy monitoring and improvement plans to 7 CSOs from the Yerevan and Gyumri CSO incubators.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">During the working meetings, the sub-grants allocated to incubator CSOs through competition were discussed, in addition to the development of public policy monitoring and improvement plans by the participants&#8217; own organisations, as well as the preparation of a brief executive summary of a sub-grant project on a single public policy included in their plans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">During the personal advice session Atovmyan mentioned how an organisation&#8217;s public policy monitoring and improvement plan should be prepared, how problematic public policies should be presented in a more targeted manner. All the questions raised by NGO representatives were answered.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"yj6qo ajU\">\n<div id=\":jj\" class=\"ajR\" role=\"button\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>The \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d project<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a Consortium of civil society organisations, which are the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association (lead organisation), Agora Central Europe (NGO based in the Czech Republic), the Armenian Centre for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, the International Centre for Human Development, the SME Cooperation Association and the Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The project aims to enhance the influence of civil society organisations (CSOs) and CSO coalitions\/networks on public policies in Armenia.
