{"id":3458,"date":"2018-08-21T13:13:08","date_gmt":"2018-08-21T09:13:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?p=3458"},"modified":"2018-09-26T15:13:02","modified_gmt":"2018-09-26T11:13:02","slug":"individuals-involved-in-the-sector-of-agriculture-in-gavar-participated-in-a-town-hall-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/3458.html","title":{"rendered":"Individuals Involved in the Sector of Agriculture in Gavar Participated in a Town Hall Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">On <em>21 August 2018<\/em>, a Town Hall workshop took place in Gavar in the scope of the &#8220;Commitment to Constructive Dialogue&#8221; project funded by the European Union.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The workshop was initiated by the Agricultural Alliance of Armenia in cooperation with the International Centre for Human Development. It was organized in the scope of the &#8220;Participatory Policies, Sustainable Agriculture&#8221; sub-grant project which is implemented\u00a0in the scope of the &#8220;Commitment to Constructive Dialogue&#8221; project funded by the European Union.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The workshop gathered\u00a0in one room the stakeholders of the sector of agriculture of the marz, to raise sectoral issues, which would serve as a basis for the Nationwide Farmers&#8217; Congress planned for October where the respective issues would be presented to the respective representatives of the Government and the National Assembly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The\u00a0<strong>\u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a consortium of civil society organizations, which are the \u201cArmenian Lawyers\u2019 Association\u201d NGO, Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), the \u201cArmenian Center for Democratic Education-CIVITAS\u201d NGO, the \u201cInternational Center for Human Development\u201d Public Organization, the \u201cSME Cooperation Association\u201d NGO and the Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The overall objective of the project is to enhance the influence of CSOs and their coalitions (networks) on the public policy process. This will enable the organizations (that already work in target coalitions) to gain new resources, unite civil society experts and encourage them to participate in the formation of local and national policy agenda, identify the common problems and priorities and to apply to the government with constructive and strategic policy initiatives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">In the scope of the project, sub-grants will be allocated to CSOs and CSO coalitions, aiming at public policy development and achieving tangible results in the\u00a0<strong>9 target sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0justice, human rights, public finance management, business, education, social sector: social inclusion of children with disabilities, agriculture, economy, energy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 21 August 2018, a Town Hall workshop took place in Gavar in the scope of the &#8220;Commitment to Constructive Dialogue&#8221; project funded by the European Union.\u00a0 The workshop was initiated by the Agricultural Alliance of Armenia in cooperation with the International Centre for Human Development.
