{"id":3632,"date":"2018-10-30T19:10:33","date_gmt":"2018-10-30T15:10:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?p=3632"},"modified":"2018-11-02T17:09:46","modified_gmt":"2018-11-02T13:09:46","slug":"public-budget-monitoring-coalition-building-issues-were-discussed-with-cso-incubator-participants-in-gavar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/3632.html","title":{"rendered":"Public Budget Monitoring, Coalition Building Issues Were Discussed with CSO Incubator Participants in Gavar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">On 30 October 2018, a seminar entitled &#8220;Public Budget and Policy Monitoring, Development of Evidence-Based Public Policies, Coalition Building, CSO-Government Dialogue&#8221; was held at the Gavar CSO incubator operated in the scope of the &#8220;Commitment to Constructive Dialogue&#8221; project funded by the European Union.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">9 representatives of 7 civil society organisations attended the training.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The training was conducted by project mentors&#8217; group coordinator\/justice sector mentor Marat Atovmyan. He presented and discussed with the participants a number of issues related to development of evidence-based public policies, including work with local government aimed at effective dialogue and making the issues raised a subject for discussion and receive solutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">In addition, Carl Ulbricht, the International Expert of the Project, gave personal advice to Gyumri Incubator CSOs on the preparation of grant proposals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Incubators of civil society organisations\u00a0(CSO)\u00a0are aimed at contributing to CSO capacity building and increasing the efficiency of their activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The\u00a0<strong>\u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a consortium of civil society organizations, which are the \u201cArmenian Lawyers\u2019 Association\u201d NGO, Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), the \u201cArmenian Center for Democratic Education-CIVITAS\u201d NGO, the \u201cInternational Center for Human Development\u201d Public Organization, the \u201cSME Cooperation Association\u201d NGO and the Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The overall objective of the project is to enhance the influence of CSOs and their coalitions (networks) on the public policy process.
