{"id":3851,"date":"2018-12-18T21:52:05","date_gmt":"2018-12-18T17:52:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?p=3851"},"modified":"2019-01-10T17:17:38","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T13:17:38","slug":"training-for-female-experts-entitled-oversight-tools-of-community-activities-in-the-sector-of-sustainable-energy-methodical-guide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/3851.html","title":{"rendered":"Training for Female Experts Entitled &#8220;Oversight Tools of Community Activities in the Sector of Sustainable Energy: Methodical Guide&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the scope of the &#8220;CSOs for Sustainable and Transparent Energy Development\u00a0<\/span>(EU4STED)&#8221; project implemented within the &#8220;Commitment to Constructive Dialogue&#8221; project funded by the European Union, on 17 December 2018 an educational and capacity building training entitled &#8220;Oversight Tools of Community Activities in the Sector of Sustainable Energy: Methodical Guide&#8221; was held for female experts\u00a0in Artik City Hall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the training, the main obstacles of investments in the energy sector, sustainable energy development projects of communities, the importance of women&#8217;s participation in those processes, as well as the events foreseen within the &#8220;CSOs for Sustainable and Transparent Energy Development\u00a0<\/span>(EU4STED)&#8221; project, aimed at supporting the solution of the mentioned problems, were presented. The following was also presented: the necessity of collecting baseline information for each sector, calculated methodology, the importance of green procurement and CSOs&#8217; mission to monitor and reveal emerging issues.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Astghine Pasoyan, the Director of the Foundation to Save Energy, noted that the oversight and monitoring role of the society is extremely important in the sustainable energy sector and that CSOs and independent experts need professional knowledge in order to have an informed civilian role in this sector. This workshop is dedicated to the formation of these very strengths.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Around 20 experts from Artik and Aparan,\u00a0<\/span>the project target\u00a0communities, participated in the training.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">The Mayor of Artik was also present.
