On 27 February 2019, 3 events will take place in the scope of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. The Human Rights Protection Coalition organises a public discussion on the topic of “Human Rights Violations in the Army and Their Prevention Mechanisms”<\/span>\u00a0(27 February, 12:00-14:30, Ani Plaza Hotel, Nairi Hall (Yerevan, 19 Sayat-Nova).<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. “Argina” Cultural NGO organises a press conference in Stepanavan in the scope of their project titled “We Are Full Members.”\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. In the scope of the “Public Policy Monitoring and Improvement” project implemented by the “Development Principles” NGO, it is expected to organise a round-table discussion on NGO public policy development and administration improvement issues (at 14:00, “Article 3” Club (address: 26A Tumanyan Street, 0001 Yerevan<\/a>).<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The\u00a0\u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a consortium of civil society organizations, which are the \u201cArmenian Lawyers\u2019 Association\u201d NGO, Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), the \u201cArmenian Center for Democratic Education-CIVITAS\u201d NGO, the \u201cInternational Center for Human Development\u201d Public Organization, the \u201cSME Cooperation Association\u201d NGO and the Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The overall objective of the project is to enhance the influence of CSOs and their coalitions (networks) on the public policy process. This will enable the organizations (that already work in target coalitions) to gain new resources, unite civil society experts and encourage them to participate in the formation of local and national policy agenda, identify the common problems and priorities and to apply to the government with constructive and strategic policy initiatives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    In the scope of the project, sub-grants will be allocated to CSOs and CSO coalitions, aiming at public policy development and achieving tangible results in the\u00a09 target sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0justice, human rights, public finance management, business, education, social sector: social inclusion of children with disabilities, agriculture, economy, energy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
