The topic was &#8220;Monitoring of the SME Development Strategy and Sustainable Agricultural Development.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Representatives of the Lori Region local government, civil society organisations, and different communities participated in the discussion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">During the discussion, expert Satik Badeyan presented the important directions of monitoring the 2016-2018 SME Strategy and new strategy development. Arthur Gomktsyan, a representative from the Agricultural Alliance, presnted their project entitled &#8220;Participatory Policies &#8211; Sustainable Agriculture.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">A dialogue took place between local government and CSO representatives. The topic was whether the SME strategy should be a general document or it should be composed based on the development visions of separate branches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The participants attached importance to the implementation of monitoring, which must serve as a basis for the development of a new SME strategy in the future.
