{"id":5190,"date":"2019-05-14T17:09:25","date_gmt":"2019-05-14T13:09:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?p=5190"},"modified":"2019-12-06T22:04:20","modified_gmt":"2019-12-06T18:04:20","slug":"opportunities-and-problems-of-introducing-the-business-ombudsman-institute-in-the-core-of-the-ngo-sector-discussion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/5190.html","title":{"rendered":"Opportunities and Problems of introducing the Business Ombudsman Institute in the Core of the NGO Sector Discussion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On 14 May, a Chatham House format discussion on \u201cOpportunities and Problems of introducing the Business Ombudsman Institute in the Core of the NGO Sector Discussion\u201d was held within the framework of the \u201cNew Strategy for Effective development of SME Sector in Armenia\u201d sub-grant project implemented in the scope of the EU-funded \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mr. Armen Galstyan, Executive Director of the International Center for Human Development, in his welcoming speech, introduced the project and its objectives.\u00a0He noted that the meeting is held without the right of reference format.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mr. Hakob Avagyan, Vice-President of SME Cooperation Foundation presented the background of the introduction of the Business Ombudsman Institute in Armenia, its necessity and capabilities.\u00a0He also pointed out the problems in the sector.\u00a0Hakob Avagyan also presented the international experience, introducing examples of Georgia, Ukraine and Russia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Head of Business and Human Rights Unit of Human Rights Defender&#8217;s Office of the Republic of Armenia delivered a speech as well.
