{"id":5289,"date":"2019-05-29T19:03:11","date_gmt":"2019-05-29T15:03:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?p=5289"},"modified":"2019-05-30T11:19:37","modified_gmt":"2019-05-30T07:19:37","slug":"education-as-a-guarantor-of-democracy-and-formation-human-citizen-discussion-with-teachers-from-25-schools-in-gegharkunik-marz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/5289.html","title":{"rendered":"Education as a Guarantor of Democracy and Formation Human-Citizen:\u00a0Discussion with Teachers from 25 Schools in Gegharkunik Marz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On 29 May, a conference &#8220;Education as a Guarantor of Democracy and Formation of the Citizen&#8221; was held in Gavar within the framework of\u00a0\u201cEdu-Logic\u201d Equal Start\u201d sub grant project by the \u201cOpen Boarders\u201d NGO in the scope of the EU funded \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d project implemented by ALA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Directors, teachers and pupils of 25 schools of Gegharkunik marz attended the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Hambardzum Safaryan, Head of Education Department of Gegharkunik Regional Administration, was also present at the event. He welcomed the participants of the conference on behalf of Gegharkunik Governor wishing fruitful work and success in terms of investment of each participant, constructive dialogue and cooperation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ms Eleonora Begoyan, Peoject Manager, President of \u201cOpen Borders\u201d NGO held a welcoming speech, noting that the project has the &#8220;equal start&#8221; notion in its title as there is inequality in the field.\u00a0&#8220;During the implementation of the project, it seemed to us that we simply are studying a textbook (the textbook on the subject Social Science), we will reveal the problems in that framework, but the results were that we simply opened the &#8220;Pandora&#8217;s Box&#8221; where there are many in-depth problems and in order not to be afraid we should have to start from one point.\u00a0Since decision-makers want to develop a new policy, make changes in the program and avoid repetition of the mistakes of the past, it is important that the representatives of education, civil society organizations be very active, raise issues, so that their voice will be heard<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mr. Marat Atovmyan, Mentors Group Coordinator of the \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project, Mentor of Justice and Related Sectors, presented the CCD project, its mission and mission. &#8220;The state or community can have very good initiatives, good and progressive ideas, but if there is no public support, it will be very difficult for both the local self-governing bodies and the state governing bodies to implement and make it reality.\u00a0And vice versa, civil society organizations can have very noble ideas and suggestions, but if decision makers do not have the will to realize them, they remain unaccomplished, whatever you will do,&#8221; he said.\u00a0Marat Atovmyan also mentioned that the state will benefit from the cooperation of both sides.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The event was also attended by the Rector of the Gavar State University, Ruzanna Hakobyan, who presented the role of education in the formation of human-citizen and existing obstacles in the field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Marat Atovmyan spoke about the importance anti-corruption education.
