{"id":5721,"date":"2019-05-30T12:16:23","date_gmt":"2019-05-30T08:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/?p=5721"},"modified":"2019-09-20T16:38:08","modified_gmt":"2019-09-20T12:38:08","slug":"garbage-disposal-monitoring-report-on-6-enlarged-communities-in-shirak-lori-and-tavush","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/en\/5721.html","title":{"rendered":"Garbage Disposal: Monitoring Report on 6 Enlarged Communities in Shirak, Lori and Tavush"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cCompass\u201d Research, Training and Consultancy Center NGO is implementing the project in cooperation with its partners; \u201cNGO Center\u201d, \u201cYouth Cooperation Center of Dilijan\u201d NGO and \u201cInformation Systems Development and Training Center\u201d NGO, implemented the \u201cParticipatory Monitoring for the Creation of Intelligent Communities in Armenia\u201d\u00a0project in the scope of the sub-grant provided in the framework of the \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project, which is implemented by a Consortium led by the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association NGO.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In July-December 2018, within the framework of the project, a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/%D4%B1%D5%B2%D5%A2%D5%A1%D5%B0%D5%A1%D5%B6%D5%B8%D6%82%D5%A9%D5%B5%D5%B8%D6%82%D5%B6.pdf\"><strong>survey was<\/strong><\/a> conducted in 6 enlarged communities of 3 marzes of Armenia, which was aimed at assessing the quality of a number of services provided by the community, and assessment of their the cost-effectiveness.\u00a0Three regions included in the program are Shirak, Lori, Tavush. In each of them two large communities have been selected as respectively.\u00a0Akhuryan and Ashotsk in Shirak Region, Stepanavan and Tumanyan in Lori Region, and Dilijan and Noyemberyan in Tavush.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The survey was aimed at evaluating the quality of garbage collection and sanitation services provided by municipalities in selected communities.\u00a0The study consisted of two components. In the scope of the first component, the assessment of population\u2019s satisfaction was conducted using the quantitative method of surveys based on the quota model.\u00a0In total, 902 requests were made.\u00a0Within the framework of the second component, the monitoring of garbage disposal system in enlarged communities was carried out.
