Representatives of Lori Marz NGOs attended the meeting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">During the discussion, Ms Zarine Hovhannan, Lawyer\/Program Coordinator of the ALA Vanadzor Office, presented a comprehensive\u00a0<em><strong>information<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0on the amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Non-Governmental Organizations and the proposed amendments thereto. Noting that the draft has been revised and finalized thanks to the effective and constructive work and contribution of the CSO-SRC Working Group, which had been formed for this purpose. Further, the participants referred questions to the reporter on the new standards for reporting by NGOs, including new reporting procedures when using public funds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">After that the rapporteur presented the\u00a0<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/armla.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/%D4%BB%D5%80%D4%B1-%D4%BC%D5%B8%D5%BC%D5%B8%D6%82-%D5%B4%D5%A1%D6%80%D5%A6%D5%AB-%D5%B0%D5%A1%D5%B7%D5%BE%D5%A5%D5%BF%D5%BE%D5%B8%D6%82%D5%A9%D5%B5%D5%B8%D6%82%D5%B6.ppt\">report<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0on the activities of the ALA Lori Regional Branch for 2019<em><strong>,<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0referring to the legal and other assistance provided by the branch to NGOs, SMEs and individuals, information resources and the ALA\u2019s Implementation Projects including the large-scale work carried out in the framework of the EU funded \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">At the end of the discussion, the participants emphasized the importance of such meetings, taking into account the fact that the RA Law on Non-Governmental Organizations is the main legislative act regulating their daily activities, therefore it is important to be properly informed about the expected legislative changes, as well as the activities in the regions.
