The\u00a011th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption<\/b>\u00a0is being held in Doha, Qatar, from December 15-19, with the participation of representatives from dozens of countries, international organizations, and NGOs.<\/p>\n

On December 16, a series of thematic discussions were organized by\u00a0StAR (Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative)<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The morning panel sessions focused on the transparency of data regarding the recovery and return of stolen assets, human rights, as well as asset management and issues related to crypto-assets. The speakers emphasized the necessity of ensuring data transparency in the processes of stolen asset recovery and return.<\/p>\n

These panel discussions were attended by\u00a0Karen Zadoyan<\/b>, President of the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association, General Secretary of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, and member of the Anti-Corruption Policy Council of Armenia, and\u00a0Marat Atovmyan<\/b>, Vice-President of the ALA and expert of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia.<\/p>\n

The sessions were organized under the general theme\u00a0\u201cShaping Tomorrow\u2019s Integrity\u201d<\/b>\u00a0and were supported by the Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative (founded by the UNODC and the World Bank) and other prestigious organizations.<\/p>\n
