Today, at the meeting held in Kapan office of the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association, the results of the free legal assistance provided to non-governmental organizations within the framework of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project were summarized, and further work was planned and discussed.<\/p>\n
Mr. Hrayr Khachatryan, Lawyer\/Coordinator of Gavar Regional Office of the Project, presented the activities implemented in Gegharkunik marz to the ALA Executive Director Artak Saribekyan.<\/p>\n
Mr. Marat Atovmyan, Mentors\u2019 Group Coordinator\/Justice and Related Sectors Mentor of the project and Mr. Hrayr Khacatryan discussed the issues related to the implementation of mapping of CSOs, elaboration programs of CSOs\u2019 incubators, ensuring co-operation of mentors, as well as future planning.<\/p>\n
In the course of the meeting, the process of harmonization of the NGO statutes with the requirements of the new Law on Non-Governmental Organizations and the re-registration of NGOs were discussed.<\/p>\n
