On 19 July, participants of CSO incubators had a working meeting with RA Deputy Minister of Nature Protection Mr. Ayser Ghazaryan in the scope of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project funded by the European Union.
Mr. Ghazaryan commended the initiative of this CSO-ministry meeting. He also noted that CSOs’ work is important and pivotal. The newly appointed deputy minister introduced himself to the meeting participants and said that he is a forestry expert by training. Later he became specialised in management of bioresources with modernisation tools and the legal field. He has many years’ work experience.
Head of project mentors’ group, justice and related sectors mentor Mr. Marat Atovmyan presented the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project to the deputy minister. He also noted that nature protection was related to project directions and that there would be a need for active cooperation with the ministry.
Civil society organisations (CSO) incubators are aimed at promoting CSO capacity building and enhancing their efficiency.
