20 Young People will conduct Monitoring of the Provided Community-Based Services in Tavush Marz

20 young people in Tavush Marz will conduct monitoring of the provided community-based services in Tavush Marz within the scope of the “Participatory Monitoring for the Establishment of Smart Communities in Armenia” Project.

On 27 July, Mr. Haykaram Drmeyan, the “Participatory Monitoring for the Establishment of Smart Communities in Armenia” Project Manager, introduced the theme “Principles of the Participatory Monitoring” at the training  with young people in Dilijan.  He presented the importance of participatory monitoring, mechanisms and forms of engagement.

Project sociologist Sonya Msryan presented a quantitative survey on household methodology, as well as the methodology for waste management and lighting areas.

The monitors were provided with questionnaires to conduct the surveys and monitoring.

Based on their experience, the participants raised examples of difficulties and problematic issues encountered during the monitoring. They also discussed and approved ways to resolve them.

“Participatory Monitoring for the Establishment of Smart Communities in Armenia” Project is implemented within the framework of the EU-funded “Commitment Constructive Dialogue” project.
