Vigen Shirvanyan, an expert from the “CIVITAS-Armenian Centre for Democratic Education” NGO, presented potential reforms in the sector of education. He mentioned that an initiative had been suggested for teachers. Its goal is to create the first “filter” for choosing teachers at the first level. Teachers’ professional knowledge will be accepted as a filter and those who pass it will receive a 50 % salary increase, they will start working full-time and will be paid more.
It should be added that CSO incubators are aimed at CSO capacity development and raising the efficiency of their activities.
