Project Budget:  5,498,000 AMD; funding requested from the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project – 4,948,200 AMD; Applicant’s Contribution – 549,800 AMD

The

of the project is to increase the level of protection of workers’ rights in work-related interactions by identifying problems existing in legislation and its implementation, by contributing to the realization of the employee’s right to a fair trial in case of labor disputes and to the introduction of an extrajudicial mechanism.

Within the framework of the project it is envisaged to implement policy monitoring, to identify the existing obstacles to the to the realization of employee’s right to a fair trial and the prerequisites for the implementation of a extrajudicial mechanism, to develop proposals to improve the sector, and to enhance the awareness of beneficiary groups.

Target groups of the monitoring are the RA First Instance Courts, Human Rights and Public Defender’s Offices, Trade Unions, CSOs.

Beneficiaries of the project are those who are party of work-related interactions and / or victims of labor law violations.
