On 30 January, the meeting with the Governor of Lori Marz and the representatives “Healthy Body in an Informed Mind” project was held in the regional administration building.
The project is implemented by “Spitak Helsinki Group” Human Rights NGO within the framework of the sub-grant provided in the scope of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project, implemented by the Consortium led by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
Lori Governor AndreY Ghukasyan and head of Health and Social Security Department of the Lori regional administration Artur Mkhitaryan were present at the meeting.
Ms Ashkhen Babayan, President of the “Spitak Helsinki Group” Human Rights NGO and Ms Arev Petrosyan, “Healthy Body in an Informed Mind” Project Manager presented the main objective of the project and anticipated the support of Lori governor. During the meeting the parties discussed ways of effective implementation of the project and ways of cooperation.
The Governor of Lori Marz welcomed the implementation of the project and expressed readiness to assist in every possible way.
At the end of the meeting the parties agreed to meet again and discuss further details.
