LSG and CSO Representatives Discussed the Necessity of Drafting Master Plans and Efficiency Evaluation Approaches

On 11 February 2019, a discussion entitled “Necessity of Drafting Prospective Community Development Master Plans and Efficiency Evaluation Approaches: Comprehensive Community Development Strategy and Efficiency Evaluation Approaches” took place in Dilijan. Representatives from Tavush Marz LSGs, CSOs, communities and regional administrations participated. 

The discussion was held in the scope of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project funded by the European Union. 

Expert Artak Yergenyan presented at the discussion organised in Dilijan the necessity of drafting prospective community development master plans and efficiency evaluation approaches. 

Over 25 representatives of LSGs and CSOs discussed whether our society had already grown enough to understand the necessity of master plans. One of the opinions voiced was about being too late in this. Another question discussed was the party that initiated this process. A part of the discussion participants suggested setting out the necessity of master plans at the legislative level.
