On 15 April, the Regional Commission on Issues of People with Disabilities was held at Lori regional administration, presided by Lori Governor Mr. Andrey Ghukasyan.
The agenda of the session also included providing the information on the “We Are a Full Member” project implemented within the scope of the sub-grant provided by the EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project.
Ms Gayane Balayan, Project Manager presented the overall objectives and the scope of the project and expressed expectations on the involvement and support of stakeholders in the research phase.
Agreed to participate in the session of the Commission upon the end of the research phase of project and present the findings to further enhance the future cooperation was reached with Mr. Valeri Jaghinyan, secretary of the Regional Commission on Disability Issues, Head of social security unit of the health and social security department of regional administration.
The objective of the “We Are a Full Member” project is to increase the activities of Community Support Centers in Lori Marz by offering effective solutions to the issues raised during the monitoring process, by paying attention to the accessibility and targetedness of the services of these centers for Children with Disabilities.
The Project is implemented by “Argina” Cultural NGO, in cooperation with ts partner “Intercommunity Cooperation for Rural Communities’ Development NGO, within the framework of the Sub-Grant provided in the scope of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue Project” implemented by a Consortium of NGOs led by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
