A focus group discussion was organised within the framework of the “Transparent and Accessible Public Funds” Project implemented in the scope of the sub-grant provided in the framework of the EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project
The project is being implemented by “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO.
The topic of the discussion was directed to identify transparency and accountability of the grants, subsidies, donations and delegated services provided by the Ministries in 2017 (also 2016) among the CSOs.
During the discussion, the participants presented their experiences with ministries, issues related to receiving or not receiving grants, and proposals for their solution. It was also emphasized that there is a lack of publicity, as well as lack of awareness, deadlines for providing grants, problems with reporting requirements, not enough clear mechanisms for applying electronically, facts of providing regularly grants and subsidies to the same organizations.
