On 13 March 2019, the “Agate” Rights Defense Center for Women with Disabilities NGO held a focus group discussion with persons with disabilities in the scope of the “Disability and RA Legislation” sub-grant project funded by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project funded by the European Union.
People with disabilities, 11 participants in total, took part in the focus group discussion.
Roza Avagyan presented the project, its goal and the order of actions. Sociologist Gayane Grigoryan presented via questions and films about what domestic violence, its contributing factors and types, etc. are.
At the end of the meeting, the parties attached importance to such meetings within the project, highly assessing the importance and effectiveness of the project. An agreement of mutual cooperation was reached.
