The “Armavir Social Camp” event was held today within the framework of the the “For Quality and Accessible Inclusive Education and Social Support” sub-grant provided in the scope of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project.
Project Manager Ms Naira Arakelyan presented the project, its activities and results. She noted that the event was aimed to show once again that all people have equal rights. According to her, inclusiveness should be of high quality and accessible, and the entire society should be aware of it.
Ms Margarita Sedrakyan, representative of “Arevatsag” Support Center for Children with Disabilities of Armavir, delivered a speech and talked about the activities and role of their center in the lives of children with disabilities in the marz. Representatives from the regional administration, the municipality, social security service, social service providers and parents of children with disabilities were also present at the event.
The cultural section of the event included a musical division, exhibition of children’s handicrafts and paintings, including the works of children with disabilities as wee.
