A meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Gemafin Gasparyan took place on June 17 within the framework of “We Are Full Members” sub-grant project implemented in the scope of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project funded by the European Union.
“We Are Full Members” Project Manager Gayane Balayan and Artur Meliksetyan, the head of the “Inter-Community Co-Operation for the Development of Rural Communities” NGO, presented the objectives and activities of the project during the meeting. The issues raised by the research and proposals for their solutions were discussed. The submitted proposals have been approved by G. Gasparian. The package will be presented to the relevant authorities soon and will be included in the relevant documents. According to the Deputy Minister, the proposals submitted are most relevant to the functions of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.
The objective of the “We Are Full Members” project is to improve the activities of the community support centres (hereafter: Centres) operating in the Lori Region, suggesting efficient solutions to the problems revealed through monitoring and also paying attention to the accessibility and targeting of services for children with disabilities at these centres.
