On 28 June, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Lori Regional Commission on the Issues of Disabled Persons and “Argina” Cultural, Intercommunity Cooperation for Rural Communities Development NGOs’ Consortium, within the framework of the “We Are a Full Member” sub-grant project implemented in the scope of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project.
Ms Gayane Markosyan, the Deputy Governor conducted the session of the Lori Regional Commission on the Issues of Disabled Persons.
A significant event of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum between the Lori Regional Commission on the Issues of Disabled Persons represented by the Chairman of the Commission, Mr, Andrey Ghukasyan, the Governor of the region and “Argina” Cultural, Intercommunity Cooperation for Rural Communities Development NGOs’ Consortium. Ms Gayane Markosyan, Deputy Governor and Ms Gayane Balayan, President of “Angina” Cultural NGO signed the Memorandum.
Pursuant to the Memorandum, the Regional Commission on the Issues of Disabled Persons is willing to support the implementation of the package of proposals within its competence.
Project Manager Gayane Balayan presented the work done within the framework of the “We Are a Full Member” project and also noted that the results of the survey can provided to all interested parties as well.
Notably. The objective of the “We Are Full Members” project is to improve the activities of the community support centres (hereafter: Centres) operating in the Lori Region, suggesting efficient solutions to the problems revealed through monitoring and also paying attention to the accessibility and targeting of services for children with disabilities at these centres.
The project is implemented by the “Argina” Cultural NGO and the Intercommunity Cooperation for Rural Communities Development NGOs’ Consortium.
