It is to our deep sadness and sorrow that we inform you that Ms Gayane Poghosyan, well-known public figure, Executive Director of the Small and Medium Business Foundation, member of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, member of the EU Eastern Partnership (EaP) Civil Society Forum, Member of the Armenian National Platform and delegate of 2020-2022, died on 1 January, 2023, after a long and serious illness.

“Gayane Poghosyan was an exceptionally professional and well-behaved public figure who devoted her professional life to public activities and the creation of public good. For many years, she managed the Small and Medium Business Foundation, implementing a number of programs aimed at the development of small and medium businesses in Armenia. Gayane Poghosyan also made a significant contribution to the establishment of CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia. Gayane was an exceptionally kind, caring and devoted mother to her family.
The entire staff of the Small and Medium Business Foundation and the Secretariat of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia deeply mourn the irreparable loss of Gayane Poghosyan and express their condolences to Poghosyan family, relatives and friends,” the statement of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia reads.
The memorial service of Gayane Poghosyan will be held on 3 January, from 18:00 at the “Karmir Blur” funeral hall, address: 74/1 Shirak str., funeral hall 2.
Funeral on 4 January at 1:00 pm from the same place.
