The participants of the budget training for the representatives of CSOs and Mass Media launched within the framework of the “Budgets for Citizens” action had an online discussion with Ms Syuzanna Soghomonyan, representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
At the beginning of the discussion, the representatives of the CSOs and Mass Media once again referred to the educational materials developed in an accessible and interactive way.
The discussion then continued in questions and answers format. The representatives of CSOs and Mass Media raised a number of issues, resulting in a wide-ranging discussion between the participants and the ALA representative.
CSOs and Media raised a number of questions, which mainly related to the financial stability of the organizations, the selection and management of human resources, the creation of cooperative relations, as well as ensuring gender equality in the organizations.
The ALA representative addressed in detail all the questions and concerns raised by the participants, collecting their observations and recommendations.
The “Budgets 4 Citizens” (B4C) action (8 December, 2022 – 7 December, 2026) is being implemented with the financial support of the European Union by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, in cooperation with partners “Economic Development and Research Center” (EDRC) NGO and “Agora Central Europe” NGO (Czech Republic).
