Two more non-governmental organizations from Gyumri have revised their statutes and will submitted this week to register in the State Register of Legal Entities. Miss Viktoria Yengibaryan, Lawyer of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialoge” Project provide support to the NGOs in this issue.
Last week a meeting was held in Gyumri office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association with Amalya Amirkhanyan, representative of the “Likidon” Aesthetic and Moral-Psychological NGO and Margarita Matsoyan, the representative of “Escada” NGO, who had apply to discuss the issues related to the amendment and re-registration under the requirements of the new law “On Non-Governmental Organizations” regulating the relations arising during the establishment, management, operation, reorganization and liquidation of an NGO. As a result of the discussion, they decided to re-register their NGO statutes and asked for help in this regard.
It should be noted that these organizations have also participated in trainings on the new law, within the scope of EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project, which provides free legal advice to the NGOs as well.
Last week, the Project Lawyer Victoria Eghoyan also met with representatives of “Shirak teachers” and “Sirarpeni” NGOs. The statutes of these organizations were revised with the help of Victoria Eghoyan and they were registered in the State Register of Legal Entities. During the meeting, they noted that there were no obstacles to the registration of the revised Charters.
The “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO in cooperation with its partners; Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), Armenian Center for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, “International Center for Human Development” Public Organization, SME Cooperation Association and Union of Communities of Armenia.
