On 6 December, the representatives of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) who are participating in a new educational program at the American University of Armenia met with Karen Zadoyan, the “Constructive Dialogue Commitment” Project Manager.
Representatives of 15 CSOs from six marzes of Armenia are the first participants of the University Certification Program. They presented their positions on the advantages and problems of the organized trainings at the meeting. NGO representatives mentioned that this training was fundamentally different from the various trainings that had ever attended and the topics were presented with a new approach. The choice of the lace of learning process in the new format, the American University of Armenia also positively assessed. Participants mentioned that they felt themselves as students again, among the young people, and this had a positive effect on the involvement in the classes.
They also suggested to include more games and infographics in the training course.
Project Manager Karen Zadoyan said that all the proposals and observations will be discussed and their respective solution will be given.
The training is organized in the framework of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO in cooperation with its partners; Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), Armenian Center for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, “International Center for Human Development” Public Organization, SME Cooperation Association and Union of Communities of Armenia.
