On 13 April, Hakob Avagyan, Executive Director of the SME Cooperation Association conducted a training for 6 CSO participants of incubator of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project, informing them about the latest amendments in the RA Law on NGOs and how to conduct accurate and systematic accounting.
He also spoke about social entrepreneurship and how NGOs should enter this field as well as about the peculiarities of accounting in this sector.
Two participants of the training were participating in the event through visual communication.
The objective of “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project is to build CSO coalitions in 9 target areas (justice, human rights, public finance management, business, education, social sector: social inclusion of children with disabilities, agriculture, economy, and energy). Organisations can also support already existing CSO coalitions (networks). This will ensure their impact on the development of public policies in these areas, as well as enable public participation in those processes.
The “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” action is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a Consortium of civil society organisations, which are “Armenian Lawyers’ Association”, Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), Armenian Center for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, “International Center for Human Development” Public Organisation, SME Cooperation Association and Union of Communities of Armenia.
