On 16 July, participants of CSO Incubators had a working meeting with Mr. Gabriel Ghazaryan, the RA Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs. The meeting was held in the scope of the EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project.
“Our ministry is ready to find ways for the solution of sensible steps and problems and to work,” Gabriel Ghazaryan said.
Mr. Marat Atovmyan, Mentors’ Group Coordinator/Justice and Related Sectors Mentor of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project presented the program noting that 9 target areas havw been selected: justice, human rights, public finance management, business, education, social sphere: social inclusion of children with disabilities, agriculture, economy, and energy. “25 million drams have been awarded for each of the winning projects in these areas, after the completion of the projects another 7.5 million drams will be allocated to the coalitions to become stronger and to continue the programs,” Marat Atovmyan said.
It should be noted that Deputy Minister Gabriel Ghazaryan was interested in what each of the organizations is engaged in, and in their turn they raised sectoral issues, including sports federations and their financing, as well as about various grants and their participation.
Civil society organisations (CSO) incubators are aimed at promoting CSO capacity building and enhancing productivity.
