On 21 December 2018, an LSG-CSO seminar-discussion took place in Vanadzor Technology Center in the scope of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project. The event was entitled “Need for Designing Prospective Community Development Master Plans and Approaches to Efficiency Assessment: Comprehensive Community Development Strategy and Approaches to Efficiency Assessment.”
The “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project was launched in December 2016. The project duration is 34 months. It is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a Consortium of civil society organisations, which are the Armenian Lawyers’ Association (lead organisation), Agora Central Europe (NGO based in the Czech Republic), the Armenian Centre for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, the International Centre for Human Development, the SME Cooperation Association and the Union of Communities of Armenia.
The event was conducted by President of the Union of Communities of Armenia Emin Yeritsyan.
The goal of the seminar-discussion is to contribute to the dialogue between LSGs and NGOs and the continuation of their joint work in strategic plan development afterwards.
Interactive discussions on the topic mentioned above took place between expert Artak Yergenyan and more than 20 round table participants.
