In Tavush region, as a rule, the principle of targeting, accessibility and adequacy of provision of social services is not always maintained, the quality and effectiveness of services provided to the population by the Regional Social Assistance Agency and community social workers are still low, the norms of decent behavior are not always maintained by them / the quality of the services provided does not correspond to the new requirements conditioned by the change in the situation in the republic.
The goal is to contribute to the implementation of the population’s right of social protection, the improvement of the quality and efficiency of the services provided and the maintenance of employees’ compliance with the norms of integrity in the Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia.
The project is expected to:
- Ensure integrated and comprehensive provision of social services at the regional level;
- Improve targetedness and accessibility of social services;
- Ensure participation of Citizens and CSOs in the development and implementation of social policies at the local level;
- Improve social work management.
