The Coalition of “Partnership for Education Promotion” civil society organizations is implementing the “Social Partnership and Education: Community-based Opportunities for Young People” project funded by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project financed by the European Union.
Members of Coalition are Partnership and Teaching/P&T NGO, Global Development Foundation/GDF, «Sisian Adult Education Center Foundation /SAEC, Armenian Lifelong Learning League Union of Legal Entities/ ALLL
- Highlighting the reforms and development issues in the field of education in Armenia,
- With a view to promoting the involvement of organizations in decision-making processes through the development of cooperation with local self-government bodies and government agencies,
- Being convinced that this participation will contribute to the formation of a unified position of organizations on the solution of educational issues,
- Emphasizing the priorities of public policy development, advocacy and public participation in the education sector,
Have considered advisable to come up with network collaboration and create Partnership for Education Promotion Network.
OBJECTIVES AND TASKS OF THE NETWORK:
- Promote the role of CSOs in education as key actors in policy-making and dialogue-making processes on education reform,
- To form a Social Partnership aimed at improving the career counseling system in the primary and secondary vocational education and training (VET) and labor market (LM) communication and general education schools in Armenia’s enlarged communities,
- To contribute to the strengthening of VET and LM communication by forming a dialogue aimed at improving the career counseling system at community, regional and national levels at secondary schools,
- To contribute to the development of mechanisms aimed at targeted and effective involvement of social partners and employers in the VET sector,
- To assist in the establishment of network collaboration of VET institutions,
- To support the further development of public-private partnership based on VET institutions and production training centers ,
- Assist in the development of a person’s professional orientation and career management system and relevant services;
- To contribute to the introduction and development of professional orientation and career services in general education schools,
- Develop cooperation between the LG and the state institutions and organizations to ensure the examination of normative legal acts, monitoring, surveys, surveys, and provision of them to the LG bodies and government agencies,
- Develop recommendations package for VET reforms.
