The “Support to Probation” National Network is implementing the “Step towards Just Armenia” project funded by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project financed by the European Union.
The Declaration signed in December 2017 outlined the road of the “Support to Probation” National Network. As a result of the active cooperation of member organizations of the Consortium, on 19 July, 2018 the founding meeting of the “Support to Probation” national network was convened.
The members of the Network: “Civil Society Institute” NGO, “Astghatsolk” NGO, “Foundation Against the Violation of Law” NGO, “Family and Community” NGO, “Children’s Association of Armenia”, “Social Justice”, “Project Harmony”, “Child Support Center” NGO attended the founding meeting and became founding members of the network.
The Founding Meeting adopted the Network Logo, debated and adopted the Network Charter and elected the Coordinating Council of the Network.
It was also decided to reserve the implementation of the functions of the Secretariat of the network to the “Civil Society Institute” NGO for one year and to appoint Artak Kirakosyan as the Director of the Management Board, respectively.
The procedure for electing members of the Ethics Commission was approved. Armenuhi Hovhannisyan, a member of the Consortium member, “Family and Community” NGO, organized an online voting of the Ethics Committee, which started on 27 July and ended on 1 August. On August 2, the names of three members of the Ethics Committee were already known, who are now familiarizing with ethical rules to make suggestions and present them for final approval.
All CSOs that are interested in the development of the probation institute can join “Support for Probation” National Network.
