On 20 February 2019, a winemaking training was organised in the House of Culture of the Aygehovit community, Tavush Region, in the scope of the “New Opportunities for the Population Deprived from the Majority of Land because of Mining” project.
The “New Opportunities for the Population Deprived from the Majority of Land because of Mining” project is implemented by the “Ijevan” Youth Alliance” NGO in the scope of a sub-grant allocated by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project funded by the European Union.
The residents of the Aygehovit and Vazashen communities participated in the winemaking training, 20 participants in total.
The training was conducted by winemaker Manvel Sukoyan who presented the necessary useful information on winemaking to the participants, as well as the secrets of the industry in order for the latter to further use them and reach quality results.
The main goal of the project is to contribute to the development of the borderline Aygehovit and Vazashen communities, close to Ijevan, Tavush Region.
