On 26 April the regional forum “Access to Higher Education. Challenges and Solutions” was organised in Goris State University in the scope of the “Access to Higher Education” sub-grant project implemented within the framework of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project
The program is implemented by Partnership and Teaching/P&T NGO.
The Regional Forum was aimed at presenting the stakeholders the a monitoring report on financial assistance and scholarships implemented in 3 universities of Syunik marz (Goris State University, Kapan branch of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia Foundation, Sisian branch of the Armenian National Agrarian University Foundation).
Rectors, lecturers, students, representatives of Goris community CSOs and LSGs participated in the regional forum.
Mr. Artyusha Ghukasyan, Rector of Goris State University; Mr. Artur Kostandyan, rector of Kapan branch of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia Foundation, and Mr. Artashes Torozyan, Executive Director of Partnership and Teaching/P&T NGO welcomed and delivered speeches noting the importance for organising such forums.
Artashes Torozyan presented the monitoring report. Notably, in the course of the discussion, the participants presented suggestions for the solution of the problems revealed.
