On 7 March 2019, a focus group discussion within the “Multi-Stakeholder Social Protection” Project was held at the office of the “Community Mobilisation and Support Centre” NGO.
This project is implemented by the “Community Mobilisation and Support Centre” NGO within a sub-grant allocated by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project operated by a consortium led by the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” with the financial support of the European Union.
The project goal is to contribute to revealing the social problems of the children and families in difficult situations in the RA, as well as to the improvement of the mechanisms aimed at their solution, through drafting suggestions for improvement.
The focus group discussion was conducted with the members of the coordination council adjacent to the Alaverdi Territorial Social Support Agency.
Project Coordinator Husik Martirosyan presented to the participants the standards set out in the RA Law on Social Support that are related to the support network. After discussing the standards, questionnaires were distributed among the participants for them to make evaluation on a 1-5 scale.
The council members noted that cooperation with LGBs and the community head is quite strong and their work becomes faster, easier and better organised due to cooperation.
