On 13 June, a public discussion Medium Term Expenditure Framework for 2020-2022, including the Applications for Budget Financing for 2020 was held in Shirak Marz Administration.
Mr. Tigran Petrosyan, the governor of Shirak Marz, representatives of different departments of Shirak regional administration, media, CSO representatives were present at the meeting. Representatives of the “Compass Research, Education and Consulting Center” NGO, Coordinator of secretariat of “HamaZarK” Coalition participated in the meeting in the framework of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project.
Governor Tigran Petrosyan highlighted such public discussions and the role of CSOs in favor of the development of the region.
Mr. Liparit Martirosyan, Head of the Financial and Social-Economic Development Department of Shirak Regional Administration presented medium-term expenditure framework for 2020-2022 and budget financing applications for 2020, comparing the previous year’s budgets of the governor’s office.
The participants addressed their questions about budget applications, presented a number of proposals, both related to budgetary expenditure structure and the format of such public discussions in the future.
