Representatives of the “Armenian Lawyers Association” non-governmental organisation, Lawyer Expert Mr. Narek Yenokyan, and Lawyer of the ALA and Member of the State and Legal Committee of the Public Council Mr. Marat Atovmyan, as well as Experts of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia had a working meeting with the representatives of the staff of the Human Rights Defender’s Office.
In the course of the meeting, the Medium Term Expenditure Framework for 2020-2022, including the Applications for Budget Financing for 2020 of the Ombudsman’s Office was discussed and . observations related to the process of the current program were made.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General and his Deputy presented the main directions of the institution’s activity, certain statistical data, which testify to the growth in the number of citizens applying to the Defender. They also presented the development prospects of the institution and how they were reflected in the budget application. The participants asked a lot of questions to the representatives of the staff.
