On 19 June, a meeting the within the framework of the “Multi-Stakeholder Social Protection’’ sub-grant project implemented in the scope of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project was held in Lori Regional Administration. The main objective of the meeting was to present the results of the research and the analysis of the collected data during the project implementation to the stakeholders.
Mr. Oleg Dulgaryan Project Manager presented the objectives of the project the audience, after which the expert Mr. Artur Vardazaryan presented the analysis. The participants of the meeting made new recommendations, mainly relating to the improvement of the system of benefits and the necessary changes, as well as the problems existing during implementation of social cases. The participants of the meeting were also presented with a newly designed individual social program form and it was mentioned that all these proposals should be submitted to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
Similar meetings have taken place in Tavush, Kotayk and Gegharkunik regions, on the assumption of the fact that purpose was implementation of the package of proposals is the whole territory of Armenia.
The objective of the “Multi-Stakeholder Social Protection’’ is to promote mechanisms for identifying and addressing the social problems of children and families in difficult life situations and developing recommendations for improvement.
