On 29 June, the official ceremony of summarizing the “Programme of Upgrading Continuous Professional Development of Healthcare Providers in Armenia” was held.
The Project is implemented in the scope of a sub-grant allocated by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project funded by the European Union.
Notably, the “Armenian National Health Council” Coalition was established within the framework of the program.
In his speech, Mr. Gevorg Grigoryan, the President of the Coalition, physician urologist said: “We want the credited measures to be regulated by some mechanisms according to specializations and places of residence and we are ready to gather around the table to discuss the mechanisms through which we can resolve the omission.”
During the presentation of the report of the “Programme of Upgrading Continuous Professional Development of Healthcare Providers”, all the problems and omissions that were revealed as a result of monitoring carried out by doctors in the capital and marzes in the course of 6 months were presented.
The initial package of final proposals on behalf of the Coalition has been sent to the RA Ministry of Health and the National Center for Professional Activities for Certification.
