On 28 June, the final presentation of the project “Monitoring and Researching Social Advertising in Armenia as a Tool for Improving Public Policy”, implemented by the “Audio-Visual Journalists’ Association” NGO, was held.
The Project is implemented in the scope of a sub-grant allocated by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project funded by the European Union.
The representatives of the civil society organizations, The Republican Commission adjacent to the Authorized Body supervising the Observance of Social Advertising Legislation in the RA, The RA Government, RA Ministries, the NCTR, the organization that conducted the monitoring, Armenian-Russian University and Business sector were invited to participate.
The issue on the agenda was the presentation and discussion of the report. The presentation was held in an interactive format by the President of the “Audio-Visual Journalists’ Association” NGO Mr. Arzuman Harutyunyan and representative of “Metrica” Research Organization Ms Ruzan Apresyan.
The principle of discussion was: first talk about positive achievements and then mention the shortcomings with their possible solutions.
A discussion was held, in which all the participants expressed their readiness and willingness to support the next stage of the project, the introduction of the concept of institutionalisation of social advertising in Armenia and the support of the coalition.
The performance from time to time was interrupted by social advertising breaks.
The Report which also included the DVDs of Social Advertisement produced in Armenia was distributed to the participants.
